Which Slovenia Hiking Tour Is Right For You?

All three tours below appear in the dropdown on the form. If this is your first multi-day hike in the Julian Alps, the Juliana Trail and Alpe-Adria route is the gentlest way in, and you sleep in a hotel most nights. If you want a guide and a small group, that’s the Guided Hiking in the Slovenian Alps. If you want to sleep high in the mountains, that’s Mountains & Lakes.

How Paying For Your Slovenia Hiking Tour Works

A 20% deposit secures your place when you book, and the balance is due 60 days before your tour starts.

  • Prices are per person in a double or twin room: €1450 for the Juliana Trail and Alpe-Adria Trail tour and €1010 for the hut to hut tour (both 2026 prices), and €1990 for the guided tour (2027).
  • Your own room, hiking with others: €480 on the Juliana Trail tour, €220 on the hut to hut tour for the three hotel nights, and €390 on the guided tour for the five hotel nights.
  • Hiking on your own: the solo supplement is €1020 on the Juliana Trail tour and €570 on the hut to hut tour. On the guided tour there’s no solo supplement: our partner matches you with another hiker of the same gender to share a twin, and only if there’s nobody to match you with is the €390 room supplement added.

Who Runs Your Slovenia Hiking Tour

We’ve partnered with a Slovenian company to run all three of these tours. They’re based in Slovenia, they check these routes on the ground, and the guide on the guided tour is Slovenian too.

Once you send this form, they’ll answer your questions and you’ll book directly with them. It’s the same way our Dolomites tours work. It also means more of your money stays in the valleys you’re hiking through.
