How Monkeys and Mountains Works
- Introduction
When you book a hiking tour or activity (an “Experience”), Monkeys and Mountains provides the Platform for booking, but not the Experience itself. Monkeys and Mountains is a company incorporated under the laws of Bulgaria, with its place of business located at ul Edelvays 6, Bansko 2770, Bulgaria.

- What Does Monkeys and Mountains Do?
We offer a platform where you can discover and book hiking tours, activities, and outdoor experiences.
When you make a booking on our Platform, you are entering into a contract with the Supplier—the person or entity providing the Experience (such as a local guide, tour operator, or activity provider). The Supplier is fully responsible for delivering the Experience.
Before being listed, Suppliers enter into a contract with Monkeys and Mountains, allowing us to promote and make their Experiences available for booking on our Site and through our distribution channels. All Experiences must meet our Acceptance Criteria and Quality Standards to be listed, and they must continue to meet these standards to remain available on our Platform.
The Experiences displayed on our Platform represent a curated selection and are not reflective of all experiences available online or offline.
- Prices and Payments
When you make a booking, you will pay either a deposit or the full price of the Experience, depending on the specific terms of the tour. The deposit secures your booking, and the remaining balance is due closer to the tour date, as specified under each individual tour. Prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes and fees. Suppliers are required to clearly state any additional fees for optional extras or mandatory charges payable to third parties upon arrival or during the Experience.

- If Things Don’t Go to Plan…
If there is an issue with your Experience, Monkeys and Mountains will provide customer support and work with the Supplier to help resolve any disputes. However, we do not offer any guarantees or warranties regarding the Experiences or the Suppliers.
