I always get worried when I'm going to visit a well-known city popular city like Amsterdam. Will it live up to the hype? In the case of Amsterdam it certainly did! And contrary to popular believe, there's so much to the city than the famous pot cafes. I was surprised to learn from several locals that it's not a city of pot smokers. Most of the people in the cafes are university students or tourists according to several locals I spoke to! Abseiled from the Euromast in Rotterdam, one of the highest abseils in Europe, was also a highlight of my time in the Netherlands.
